| I am planning to get my living room and basement remodeled. What questions should I ask the contractor, what should I look out for in his proposal and what warning signs should I keep my eye open for? |

Hi Guest
Take a look at the response to Keliy that i wrote, as applicable to you as it is to her. With the exception of the fact that you will have to do some D & B work Design and Build. Firstly, Put down your ideas and wants, and then offer them to the contractor for evaluation and consideration. Once they have come up with a scheme -take a look and consider your options. If this takes on a hiatus state don't worry its part of the course. Only if you not prepared to spend a little at this pre-planning stage should you consider getting down to the job of agreeing Scope of work, Specification, and costs.
From then onwards it’s as stated in my first sentence.
Good Look project manager -look it up! |
